A 17 years old student from HFI Y11 in Guangzhou.
Passion
I was really interested in dancing when I was young. So far, I have danced for 10 years and have many competition trophies. What's more, I'm still the president of the school dance club and often perform dance programs with my classmates at various galas. These memories make me really happy. Moreover, I was attracted by K-pop culture. I really like those idols dancing on the stage and showing their charm.
Purpose
Inspired by Luotianyi and K-pop culture, I would like to create my own idols to spread our culture to the world. Through my understanding of the idol industry, I know that they have a very significant influence. So I want to utilize these influences to spread and promote traditional Chinese culture. I combine my idol with traditional culture to create an idol with a unique style. And through AI technology, characters are generated and songs are created. The dance part was recorded by myself and then presented through motion capture technology.
Technology
I took an AI coaching course, which taught me how to better use AI to help me create tasks. Meanwhile, the creation of the songs also uses AI for arrangement.
Path
1. Learning traditional cultural knowledge
Focus on core elements such as Miao costumes and Suzhou gardens, while also covering traditional festivals and folk arts. Study through ancient books and authoritative websites to accumulate cultural materials, laying a foundation for design.
2. Determining virtual idol design
Learn AI prompt engineering and text-to-image tools, design the idol's appearance, costumes, and movements by integrating cultural elements, then adjust prompts to optimize the image after generation.
3. Generating photos and opening/closing frames
Master image-to-image technology to generate photos of the idol from different angles and in various scenes, maintaining a consistent image. Design opening and closing frames for the Suzhou garden scene video.
4. Producing image-to-video content
Learn image-to-video tools as well as prompts for storyboards and camera movements, design reasonable storyboards and camera movements, fix the opening and closing frames, and ensure the character's image and movements are coherent.
5. Generating traditional cultural music
Learn AI music tools, select styles of traditional musical instruments, integrate cultural elements into lyrics, then listen to and adjust the generated music.
6. Editing into a promotional MV
Learn editing tools, edit the video according to rhythm, add special effects and subtitles, synchronize audio and video, review and adjust to complete the final MV.
